Buyer’s Guide to Choosing Leather Safety Gloves

Leather safety gloves provide durable hand protection for general rigging, construction, maintenance, materials handling and industrial work. Insinc’s range includes cow grain, split leather, suede and professional-grade riggers gloves from Komodo, Bastion, Esko and Paramount.

Available sizes range from Small to XX-Large, with selected Riggamate gloves offered in numbered sizes from 7 to 12. Products are supplied individually, in packs of 12 pairs or in bulk cartons of up to 120 pairs.

Cow Grain, Split Leather or Suede?

Cow grain leather gloves provide a smooth outer surface and are available across the Santona, Riggamate and Esko Rigger ranges. Premium cowhide gloves suit general handling tasks where durability, comfort and flexibility are important.

Split leather and suede gloves provide alternative textures for selected rigging and handling applications. Professional-grade Leather Man gloves, Handyman riggers gloves and polishing gloves are also available for different workplace requirements.

The listed material alone does not confirm protection against cuts, heat, chemicals or electrical hazards. Check the full product specifications before selecting gloves for specialised work.

Choosing the Right Size and Glove Style

Correct sizing helps maintain grip, movement and control. Gloves that are too loose may catch on equipment, while gloves that are too tight can reduce dexterity and become uncomfortable during extended use.

Consider the leather type, cuff design, required flexibility and materials being handled. Inspect gloves regularly and replace them when the leather becomes torn, heavily worn, stiff or contaminated.

Some Santona and Riggamate sizes are obsolete, so contact Insinc for current availability or suitable alternatives.
