Buyer’s Guide to Choosing Medical Face Masks

Medical face masks provide a disposable barrier for healthcare, food handling, cleaning and other hygiene-controlled environments. Insinc’s range includes blue earloop hygiene masks, 3-ply medical masks and Type IIR 3-ply masks in packs and bulk cartons.

Available quantities include packs of 50 and cartons containing 900, 1,000 or 2,000 masks, depending on the selected product.

Which Medical Face Mask Do You Need?

Standard 3-ply and earloop hygiene masks may suit routine workplace hygiene requirements. Type IIR masks are separately identified within the range, so check the product specifications and required workplace standard before ordering.

Earloop designs support quick fitting and removal. Masks should cover both the nose and mouth and be replaced when damp, damaged, contaminated or according to workplace procedures.

Pack or Bulk Carton?

Packs of 50 suit smaller teams, first-aid supplies or lower-volume use. Bulk cartons are better suited to clinics, food-processing facilities and workplaces with regular disposable mask requirements.

Face masks should be selected as part of a workplace risk assessment. They are not automatically suitable for airborne respiratory hazards that require a fitted respirator.
